The Nimbus RFID digital lock provides contactless locking in the same sleek, slimline style and footprint as the Nimbus digital combination lock. Compatible with ISO14443A RFID standards, Nimbus RFID incorporates a membrane touchpad for ease of programming which can also be used to override the lock when required.
Say goodbye to locker blocking and open the door to 100% locker availability at the start of each day thanks to the Nimbus RFID with Scheduled Unlock. The feature rich functionality supports up to 50 private mode users at one time and provides a full electronic audit trail for visibility and control.
Does your locker room suffer with locker blocking? Avoid the problem and start every day with up to 100% locker availability using the water resistant Nimbus Wet Area RFID with Scheduled Unlock. The feature rich functionality supports up to 50 private mode users at one time and provides a full electronic audit trail for visibility and control.
The Nimbus wet area RFID lock 3964 provides contactless locking and is water resistant up to IP65. Suitable for use in wet and chlorinated environments, the Nimbus RFID digital combination lock is compatible with the RAS remote allocation system making it ideal for locker and storage areas in swimming pools, gyms, leisure centres or spas.
Our RFID locks can be used independently or paired with existing systems, such as access control systems, to provide a contactless locking solution with a wide range of accessories and options, including an integrated keypad for programming and backup access.
RFID technology operates across different frequency ranges and chip standards, and not all RFID locks are compatible with all card and fob types. So, if you are integrating Nimbus locks into an existing access control infrastructure, or if your users already carry RFID cards or fobs for building access, it is worth confirming compatibility with us first.
The most common scenario is a site where employees already carry RFID building access cards. In many cases, the same card can be used to access their locker, removing the need for a separate fob entirely. Whether this is possible depends on the chip standard your access control system uses.
Contact our technical team with details of your existing card infrastructure, and we can confirm compatibility and advise on the best configuration for your installation.
Locker blocking, where a locker remains locked and occupied after a user has left, is one of the most common operational frustrations in managed locker environments. In a busy gym, office or leisure centre, a bank of lockers blocked by absent users reduces available capacity and creates avoidable administrative work. Scheduled Unlock addresses this directly. Available on the Nimbus RFID Lock with Scheduled Unlock (3965) and the Nimbus Wet Area RFID Lock with Scheduled Unlock (3966), this feature allows locker banks to be set to open automatically at a defined time, typically at the start of the day or at closing time. This returns all unoccupied lockers to the available pool without the need for manual intervention from staff. The Scheduled Unlock time is set via the integrated keypad during lock programming, with no external software, internet connection, or additional hardware required to configure or operate the feature. Up to 50 private mode users can be registered on each lock, and a full electronic audit trail records access history for visibility.
For installations requiring more advanced locker management, including remote code generation, self-service booking and real-time availability monitoring, Scheduled Unlock locks are fully compatible with our Remote Allocation System (RAS 2.0), which enables administrators to manage access across single- and multi-site locker banks from any device, without being on site.
Our RFID range consists of four Nimbus locks: the Nimbus RFID Digital Combination Lock (3963), the Nimbus RFID Lock with Scheduled Unlock (3965), the Nimbus Wet Area RFID Lock with Scheduled Unlock (3966) and the Nimbus Wet Area RFID Digital Combination Lock (3964). All four combine RFID card or fob access with an integrated keypad. Wet area models carry IP65 certification. Scheduled Unlock is available on the 3965 and 3966.
